Bayer Helps Victims of Earthquake in Haiti
Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Bayer is providing immediate relief in the form of medicines worth around EUR 90,000. The company will make the medicines available to the Red Cross in the Dominican Republic to enable it to be distributed quickly from there to neighboring country Haiti.

Following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Bayer is providing immediate relief in the form of medicines worth around EUR 90,000. The company will make the medicines available to the Red Cross in the Dominican Republic to enable it to be distributed quickly from there to neighboring country Haiti.
Bayer also calls on its employees worldwide to make donations through the Bayer Cares
Foundation. The company will double the amount donated by its employees up to a level of EUR
100,000. These funds are to be used for projects that will make a sustainable contribution to
reconstruction in the disaster areas.
Bayer is not directly affected by the earthquake in Haiti as it does not have any employees
or offices in the Latin American country.
