Bayer Türk has been present in Turkey for more than 50 years. All three subgroups, “HealthCare”, “ MaterialScience” and “CropScience”, are well positioned in Turkey and leading in their respective markets. Bayer is among the top 130 companies in Turkey and the 7th largest exporter in the chemical industry.

Bayer Türk has 19 regional offices throughout Turkey and operates two production sites in the greater Istanbul area. Its production site in Gebze manufactures products for CropScience while the site in Topkapı, Istanbul manufactures for HealthCare. As the largest subsidiary in the Middle East Region, Bayer Turk also exports crop protection products and pharmaceuticals to more than 20 countries.

Bayer MaterialScience is a renowned supplier in Turkey of high-performance materials such as polycarbonates and polyurethanes, and innovative systems solutions such as coatings, for a wide range of everyday use. Bayer MaterialScience’s business in Turkey is focused on polyurethanes, polycarbonates, coatings, adhesives and sealants. Principal customers in Turkey are the automotive and construction industries, the electrical/electronics sector and manufacturers of sports and leisure articles, packaging and medical equipment.
