Clinical Researches

R&D in medicine involves exploration, development and offering for use of the innovative products intended to protect human life, treat the diseases and improve the life quality. Clinical research projects of Bayer assessing effectiveness and safety of innovative treatments in line with this objective are carried out in 40 countries including Turkey under supervision of the commissioned clinical research professionals.

The clinical researches are carried out by specialist physicians at University and Training & Research Hospitals, after obtaining approval from the Ministry of Health and Ethics Committee, in accordance with the national and international legislations.

Approximately 3000 volunteer patients from Turkey have participated so far in the studies carried out under the responsibility of Bayer. In 50 clinics across Turkey, 12 international early phase studies of Bayer are carried on in thromboembolia, cancer, hemophilia, pulmonary hypertension treatment fields and diagnostic imaging field. It is anticipated that the studies carried out in Turkey will be further diversified and increased in the coming years in parallel with the expanding product portfolio in various treatment fields.
